Although pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world, I come across more people that have not heard of our great sport than those that have. As soon as I mention pickleball, a puzzled look appears across their face and the next words out of their mouth are: “What is pickleball?”
Boom. I now have a captive audience with about a 30-second window to educate and hopefully instigate my audience to become pickleball’s newest player (or even newest pickleball fanatic!). The next 30 seconds for me usually goes something like:
My goal is always to get people out on the pickleball courts. Once they do—like the rest of us—they are hooked!
